A dizzy wind danced through the terra, it's warm grasp brushed through the long strand's of grass. It's twirling mass then swirled around a few scattered tree's, making the branches toss and turn, and the tree's groan as the root's fought to take hold on the loose soil. The sun was just slipping up, it's warm ray's brushing the terra like a father brushing his hand on his child's back. A few scattered clouds rolled across the sky, in swirls and bunches, a creamy pink or white. The sky was a vast splash of blue, with swirls of pink and red thanks to the morning sun. The grass was long, brown strands that whirled in a complicated dance, wishing they where not part of the terra that still held the faint scent of smoke. A few herbivore's slipped from the shadow's, eying for any predator. A few deer, a elken, and a family of rabbits enjoyed the morning and the new shoots of grass, green and tasty. Little did they know a predator was heading their way.
The beast slipped from the shadow's, it's paw's making no sound on the terra. The beast has a silken pelt, a mixture of charcoal grey, silver, and white that looked good on it's slim form. A small dome was held close to the ground, maw brushing the dirt. It's auds where pinned flat against it's dome, only one flicking slightly as it listened. Amber and emerald orbs stared a head with intensity, burning with the need to shed blood and feel struggling prey in it's jowls. The beast's nose twitched, as jowls parted and a black tongue slipped free of her jowl's, yellow ivories dripping a sickly spittle. Her breath escaped her lung's, a foul smell that would make any creature gag. Oh how little did they prey know they where being stalked by a demon?
The lupa froze when a deer looked in her direction. Muscle's tightened, and bone's locked as she tried to not make the slightest move. The deer's orbs scanned the location but saw nothing so it turned away. A soft sigh escaped the fae's lips before she stalked forward again. Each pillar moved efficiently, muscular's contracting, and paw's brushing the terra, black claw's trying to dig gouges. Her banner was tucked around one rear pillar, as she tried to make not even the slightest of sound. Her breathing was the only exception, because she had to breathe, didn't she?
Finally the fae was mere inches from one of the small roe deer. Her lips twitched as she tensed, all power going to those rear pillar's and haunches. A hiss escaped her maw as she sprang forward, a blurry grey missile. Her jowl's parted as she slammed into the buck, her ivories finding his neck before she sank them deep. Her ivories cut through sinew and muscle without the slightest of hesitation, brushing the jugular but not cutting it yet. Blood sputtered in her jowls and down her throat, so sweet and yummy. Her orbs closed slightly before she tightened her grip and held on.
Using all one hundred and twenty pounds, the fae swung to the left, making the roe deer's head to snap the left. It turned quickly, but it's daggers slipped on the terra and it landed down with a grunt. Letting go at the last second, the fae landed on her paw's and dove for the soft underside of the deer's belly. She bit down, tore at the flesh, and came away with flesh and intestines. She stepped back as blood slipped from the wound and the deer twitched before finally going still. A smile played on the lupa's face before she huffed and turned to lick her pelt.
Esperanza was nervous for some reason. She scanned the forest and the field but saw nothing. Sighing, she turned to her kill and began to eat, relishing the taste of blood and meat sliding down her throat. She ate enough of the meat to soothe her hunger, but not to much that it would affect her speed and agility. Her dome pulled back, dripping blood and little shreds of meat. She shook herself before her black tongue flicked out to lick at the wetness on her jowl's. For a few minute's she did this then turned and began to move away.
Instinct made her stop, turn, and mark the area beside the kill. She was stating plainly this was her kill and no one was allowed to dine on it. Huffing, she then turned her back on it and sprinted a few yard's away to a large tree. Her orbs scanned the place before she marked it safe to lay down and let her guard down slightly. A yawn overcame her before she plopped down on her side and let her dome flop to the terra. Her orb's flickered slightly before closing. Yet the fae was not a sleep. No, sleep brought nightmare's and pain and she did not need that. Alas, she was not going to let her guard down at all, for other's lupine's relished the idea of killing her, and Espy did not want to die anytime soon.
A soft tired sound escaped her jowl's before she finally succumbed to sleep. Oh how she would pay for her mistake when her past came to haunt her in her dream's and make her fear. Her aud's pinned as she slept, and muscle's tensed as her nightmare played through her mind. A shiver racked her form and a whine escaped her jowls. Her pillar's moved slightly as she ran in her sleep, from her family and her father, though she would never get away. She was stuck in the past and no one could get her out...or could they?
Finally her dome jerked up, and her orb's flew open. She could sleep no more. Her pelt was soaked slightly with lupine sweat, and her bodice felt cold. She sniffed the air then her aud's pinned flat for she scented another creature. She got to her paw's gracefully and her nails dug into the terra as she waited for them to come. The lingering scent of fear swept around her, before it dissapeared with the wind.
