A howl tore through the silence of the lagoon as the fae marked her terra. This was her newly claimed land and she wanted to make sure that she was gettnig everything correct, and allow no room for error. After securing the terras then she would be hunting for a suitable mate. But that would take some thime and progress, but Cassie knew that she would have to wait but that was not a problem. Another long howl peirced the air, and it carried, allowing othe wolves from neighboring terras. Taking a breath Cassie looked about feeling proud, the she fell forwards so she was standing and walked down to the edge of the lagoon. The water helped represent the name of the place, because the waters were so clear, you could see the array of fish swimming below the surface. Well while she was here she may as well take the oppertunity to try the delacasies, so trying not to make any sudden movements the Alphess, held her position and waited, then a large fish darkened the water and she lunged forwards and pinned the fish beneath her fores. The thrashing fish struggled for freedom, but Cassie wouldnt allow it. She lowered her snout to the water and parted her jaw, clamping it around the fish and bringing it to the surface to suffocate it. The she leapd from the water onto a risen mound before plunging her ivories into the warmth that was the fishes internals. Soon enought the fish fell limp and Cassie losened her grip of it, then licked the blood from around her jowls. Throwing her head back, she fell onto her haunches and another howl rose from her throat.

Twin zeniths pricked to attention with the coming of a distinct howl. The voice was female for certain, there was no mistaking that. The howls where long and short pauses where made in between, a clear beacon of one to another and this “other” was surely going to oblige the little essa that called out so eagerly to her strangers. A grin formed upon the blackened kissers of the storm dancer as soon her stilts began to push off and send the vixen into an excited romp through the territory she had been frolicking about in without much care of who owned it. Her strong muscles rippling beneath her cashmere pelt in elegant design as she strode along the terrain towards the voice she had taken note of.
It took little time to meet the land boundaries and with a jerk of her dome she unleashed her own haunting melody, strong and bold. She was going to play nice for now, and let the other know of her approach, a fair warning was nice to have from time to time. As she dove deeper into the lands her pace slowed while muscles calmed and limbs laxed. Taking back her poise she now danced about the forest in the majesty and elegance befitting her luxurious self. Piercing orbs of lavender taking in the sites about her while following the scent of the young alphess and seeking her out.
1 Mississippi, 2, 3.... There! In no time she had caught sight of the other wolf, and how nice, she was coming up from behind the little alpha. A dark chuckle couldn’t be stopped as the darkling skulked her way into the lagoon and padded her way towards the little essa. “You called little alphess?” Her threatening grin was ghastly, beautiful... but still very frightening. It would become quite clear to this other fae that she was in the presence of something less than kind.
Her tassel flicked upright atop her spine, curling in a display of authority. She too, looked the part of an alphess. “My name is Harlequin, I ventured here from my soon to be territory of Shadow Moon.” Her sultry voice was like liquid honey, but the words displayed the venom of her being. “And you, What have you been cursed? And why have you called for another?” You're dancing with Harlequin She has spun for you 389 fibs Her muse is jumping

Satisfied Cassie relaxed and listened to the calm surrounding that was her terratory. Birds aflutter up above, insects and bugs scurried along the ground minding their own business. Cassie rose and started to explore about a bit more, using her nose and ears to lead the way. The sweet scent of coconuts were all around, some were smashed on the ground and split by the rocks. The rough trunks of the palm trees gave way of letting others know that there was life here. That was if the sounds didn't already do that. They had some deep claw marks gashed into them. Now that was not posed my Cassie, but proberbly but passers by, or maybe if this land had been owned previously. With a deep sigh Cassie rose into a trot around the waters edge and then leaped up and across the rocks and boulders that lined the ends. A sound carried on the light breeze, made Cassie turn and stare in that direction, the hackles on her back rose and she flicked her auds aswell. It was a howl. The howl of a rival wolf. Cassie Howled back a warning howl, saying that this terratory was claimed. Surely the howling and scent marking were proof of this. This wolf muct be out of its senses our just plain bold. Cassie started to work her way quickly laying her scent on everything she could. Then not too long after a wolf appeard, and she looked like this could be trouble. "Called?" Cassie asked. "I did not call. I was meerly marking my terratory." She answered calmly. Cassie fliched slightly at the Fae as she made a wrong move. Cassie answered the move with her own assert of domanance. Her banner bristled as did most of her pelt, and a solid hiss escaped the female's teeth at the tresspasser. "Who are you to come into my lands and assert your dominance to me!" She spat at the wolfess. Looking into the lavender eyes, of the wolf, Cassie felt weakened by her, but held her ground. She Took in a sharp breath and stared at the fae with her own blue orbs, which were now hardned and serious. now was the time that Cassie needed a mate and a pack behind her, but she had none yet, so would have to see this out on her own.

A cold chuckle lashed out into the air from the large femmie, clearly amused by the defensiveness of this nervous little bella she was now in close vicinity with. Harlequin had done what she always did best, creep under your skin before you could even know she was there. It had always been a gift of the dark little bitch. From her youth Quin was a mistress of the shadows and darkness, she was happiest when she tormented others. Goddess help those who could not show a back bone. If this little Sheila wanted a good outcome from this visit, she’d best simmer down or prove to Quin that she was not just some wimp. Her eerie chuckles had long since past as she now began to advance upon the other fae who was clearly displaying her defensive pose. Her words licking out much harsher than her persona would suggest, but although her words where mighty, it was her body language that betrayed her. It was clear to Harlequin that she had already attained the upper hand, and now that the other was so defensive, she truly had no chance... However, She was feeling courteous today, or at least as much as could come of the she devil.
Her grin had yet to vanish, the words that licked her lobes having little to no effect upon her as she now circled the little alphess. “Do you truly plan to fight me off with such words?” Her dark chuckle cooed out for a fleeting moment before continuing on. “ I assert myself no matter where I am, but don’t you fret a single hair on your precious little frame. I’m not after your lands, I have lands suited quite nicely towards my needs which I would not pass up for anything.” The dark intentions seemed to ooze from Quin like a miasma circling haunted lands. This vixen was indeed a vicious and deadly one, one best not to cross without further thought into it.
Her figure soon halted, sitting to her haunches dangerously close to the other femme while looking to her with an almost flirtish expression to her tantalising visage. “I heard you howl, you’re rather close to my own lands and so I propose to you what I know you seek. Perhaps an understanding between lands.... Neither of us have followers yet, my pack will grow large and deadly, as you can see I am partial to specific types of wolves. Perhaps we can have a treaty between the two of us. I will watch your back if you watch my back. This includes catching wind of intruders and potential dangers. Our packs as they grow will know peace and believe me sweety, this is a grand deal to be accepting.” She said no more with that remark. She knew she need not say much more and now she’d await the little girl’s response.
For Quin this was tremendously well behaved. She had not even given the girl shit for showing such disrespect towards her, instead she simply lay hints of education for future reference. She never did like the direct approach and this was much more fun. Above all there was something about this other fae’s voice, she seemed like the kind of wolf that Quin could come to like, one she could get along with. She was nothing like Harlequin, and that pleased her, she never got along with wolves similar to herself. She was number one bad ass and liked it that way, she took pride in it. But to have a more passive girl trying to be rough and tuff, it amused her and brought a smile to her day. It was somehow, fitting in her life, to have someone unlike her play a small but substantial part in her new life. You're dancing with Harlequin She has spun for you 632 fibs Her muse is Great

A growl rattle the fae as the intruder moved in closer. Cassie tried her best to keep cool and not show any flaws. She took a deep breath as the fae spoke, and composed herself. The she-wolfs words sung like a melody, but Cassie had a feeling that the female, who at first appeared to want to attack her, was not too bad for sought. Relaxing slightly, her pelt smoothed out and her auds perked upwards listening her every word. Not wanting to spark a fight Cassie did not dare interrupt the alphess as she spoke. Therefore, she waited in silence with patience on her side. However, strength was not. That fae had that section covered. Cassie flicked her auds and her maw fell ajar as the fae spoke of a treaty. She had never had a terra of her own, but has not heard of a treaty within wolves before, but with there being other god-power, seeking wolf packs about Cassie was unsure about turning down her offer. Therefore, she listened in more, her banner hanging at her ankles, as she remained calm. Thinking about it more, it occurred to Cas as a good idea. With the point of them both being single alphess’s and their territories so close together, rather than fight each other about encroaching on each other’s terra, they can look out for each other. There something else was tugging at Cassie, maybe it was the way that the rival female has came onto her terra and asserted dominance. Nevertheless, that was probably a warning to let Cassie know that obviously she will be no match to the lavender orbed wolfess. With a flick of Cassie auds, she eventually answered. ”Erm... well that actually sounds like a good idea.” she said to the fae. But what if it was all a plot...? ”That way, we cannot fight each other, but form an alliance and go against others. Cassie nodded at the maiden and stood up. ”I’m Cassie.” she introduced herself, with a low wag of her banner. Then waited to see what the femme would do next.

The hesitation and uncertainty where all too clear in the little essa that now called herself Cassie, it was obvious she didn’t trust Harlequin and it was for good reason. Maybe this Cassie had a better head on her shoulders then Quin gave her credit for, but it mattered not to the young she devil. Cassie was just another pawn to help make her life easier in this world of chess. Life was a game and Quin knew how to move the board and place things in the order best suited for her.
Her tassel flicked some, laxing while her lovely silhouette shifted even closer to that of Cassie’s, giving her hip a little bump with her own while her lovely lyrics cooed out once more, this time in a dark, seductive tone. “I knew this was something you could not say no to.”Her confidence was clear and it was rightfully placed. Quin normally would not make a play that she was uncertain over. It was much like a sixth sense for her, she knew if things would go her way, or turn to absolute shit.
Once more her frame shifted now, her pedestals carrying her from the form of Cassie as if without any sort of care, making herself quite at home she delicately made her way to the body of water that lay so still and calm. Her lavender gaze caught her reflection but for a moment before allowing her boa to lower and her slick pink muscle to lash out into the calm waters and cause ripples to obscure her reflection. In all honesty the warped portrait was perhaps much more fitting for the dark alphess, she was not so clear. Like the many ripples, there were many layers to this femme’s persona, she was a walking jigsaw puzzle and liked it that way.
The water was as refreshing as she expected, the lovely coloration of the water was no liar, she took in mouthfuls and gave into her thirst, her back to Cassie as she sat there poised and relaxed, sipping up the water in complete contempt. After several moments of it, which she guessed for Cassie behind her was ages of awkward waiting she rose her dome and allowed it to cant to the side, her gaze semi focused upon Cassie while a thoughtful expression danced upon her face. “Hope you’re a good recruiter little alphess, I will be keeping a close eye on you, make sure you get some strong wolves in your pack... Otherwise you’ll be useless and with what I think is to come in the future... You have no choice but to ensure your survival by bringing up a large clan....”
Her words where no threat, although surely they probably seemed that way, however it was simple truth, Harlequin believed that there was something far more wicked than she out there that posed a threat to anyone who wasn’t ready for it. The dark vibes have been travelling upon the wind more many days now and it even caused her skin to crawl when she began to truly think on it.
